I brought this for my graduation as I had planned to wear it in my cap. I did a project at University on Inspirational Women from Yorkshire and used Gemma as a case study on how design can support and inspire women, so it felt right to have one of her products on the day, and this pin was a beautiful option. I almost brought a patch to sew into my blouse but decided this was a much more "grown-up" option that I could have on display and not hide it under my gown. Sadly my graduation is currently postponed to at least February, so this pin is currently in my pinboard, where it has been since April and watched over me finish my degree. It's not tarnished or anything like that, it's still as shiny as the day I received it. The packaging for it is amazing, I've kept the tissue paper as it's too pretty to throw away. I also love the postcard that comes with it that has the same pattern as the tissue paper, it also lives in on my pinboard. This would make a lovely gift for anyone for any occasion, just to make them smile or to a mum to tie in with the strong girls and boys patches.
