Returns & Exchanges
To make returns easier we have a new Returns Portal. You must notify us of your intention to return via the portal within 14 days of receipt of your order.
To create a return or exchange you will need your order number and delivery postcode. Please click HERE
You can choose to return via your own courier method using Self-Return. Or you can opt to use Royal Mail via our portal for a fee of £4 for packages up to 20kg which will be deducted from your processed return.
Please note that Self Return is the only option at the moment for International customers.
For exchanges, you will need to cover the cost to return the original order to us, but we will then happily send you a new size (of the same item) via free post.
Sale Items
If you order your item in the sale, sadly we can't exchange your items, we will only be able to offer a refund or a gift voucher. This is in order to keep sale prices as low as possible.
Customers praised these comfortable trousers for their "exceptional fit and cut" with an elastic waist and barrel leg. While shoppers loved the fabric quality and smart casual style, several noted sizing runs large, recommending going down a size for best fit.
But....sizing is strangely big. Waist fits but they are slightly too baggy around the thighs and hips. Fabric is great quality, love the colour and the orange top stitching looks fab
I was looking for some smart casual trousers I could wear for work this winter, preferably with an elastic waist and a barrel leg! Ta da! You’ve done it again Gemma! I bought a 12-14 reg leg and worried they might be too short (I’ve got a 33” inside leg) but they were fine.
Super comfy, great colour and a weighty cotton for all weathers. I love them.

Loved the look of these on line. I am usually between Size 20 and 22 at the likes of M&S (alas/yawn). I therefore got 2XL but they were swimming on me so if you are a "funny size", maybe go down a size.

I've taken it on board also and will add a note to the top of the product that says to go down a size if you're between sizes.

Really loves the colour, the weight and the look of these but they are huge compared to other Muthahood trousers I have bought. I am a small in other Peggy or Ottie trousers and these were massive on the waist and through the hips. Had to return as nothing smaller than the small!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm going to ask Rosie to get in touch with you because this trouser block was based on Peggy, so for you to find a huge difference in fit is a little alarming since you've already bought trousers from us. I'd like Rosie to chat to you in case there was a labelling issue at the factory. In the meantime I'm going to ask Henrietta to pop down to the warehouse to measure a few items to check if she can spot any discrepancies.

Absolutely love these trousers. I am 5ft and a size 18. I ordered the XL and they are perfect. I have worn them with the hem turned up and they are ankle length on me that way. Love the wide hem turn up, I feel they make them look quite funky. The fit and cut on these trousers are exceptional, well done Gemma and the team. x
Great quality but gigantic sizing! M was 12/14 and every measurement was too big. As next size down was S 8/10 I opted for return and refund, which was a very straightforward process, although money took quite a while to get back into my account. Pity, because they looked great. I'll stick to their tops
