Returns & Exchanges

To make returns easier we have a new Returns Portal. You must notify us of your intention to return via the portal within 14 days of receipt of your order.

To create a return or exchange you will need your order number and delivery postcode. Please click HERE

You can choose to return via your own courier method using Self-Return. Or you can opt to use Royal Mail via our portal for a fee of £4 for packages up to 20kg which will be deducted from your processed return.

Please note that Self Return is the only option at the moment for International customers.

For exchanges, you will need to cover the cost to return the original order to us, but we will then happily send you a new size (of the same item) via free post.

The best trousers!

I couldn’t decide whether to order these for ages as I was worried about size. After a quick chat with Gemma on Instagram I ordered the XL. They fit to perfection and are so comfortable. I live in them.

Best trousers ever!

I wanted these for so long but was a bit unsure on sizing. After a quick chat with Gemma on Instagram I chose the XL (I’m an 18-20) and they fit PERFECTLY. No bagginess around the stomach or bottom but a lovely barrel leg. I’m quite tall but chose regular length as I didn’t want them over my shoes. Insanely comfortable, love them.

Bought both colours now! Fab blue cords - im tall ish at 5ft 9 but bought both pairs in regular length as thr long look too long in my opinion and lose the good shape! Fabulously comfy trousers - will live in these!

Hmm

Was expecting a softer, more luxurious feel to the corduroy for over one hundred pounds but the fabric is quite rough like they've been through the wash a few times.
Rather long in the crotch, have to hike them right up otherwise the seam rubs between my thighs. That said, they're comfortable to wear once I've done that, the waist measurement is a good fit and I appreciate the pockets.
I don't think I'd buy them again though.

I'm ever so sorry to hear that you weren't overly happy with the quality of the fabric. We have used a premium cord so it's disappointing to read that the item you received didn't feel like that to you. If the item isn't worn I'd be more than happy to refund or exchange them for you. And on your comment regarding the rise length, I'm hugely grateful for your feedback. We've been thinking for a few months now that we should perhaps review this and shorten it and your comment has confirmed that we will so as of January our trouser production will be shorter in the rise. Not for me

I've been wanting to try Muthahood trousers for ages but sadly, on my Size 8 5'3" body, as I feared these make me look and feel like a clown, and the waist on the Small is too tight for me. So disappointed!

I'm so sorry to hear that these didn't fit as you'd hoped. The Peggy Trouser might be a better suited block as there's less volume in the thigh. However, I also wanted to let you know that next year we are moving our production so you might find the fit changes we make more appealing. When summer arrives I really hope you'll give our trousers another try. The drape of linen might also help in how much you notice the volume compared to cord.

I love these!

Been wanting to purchase a pair of mutherhood trousers for so long but for myself couldn’t justify the cost. I’m so glad I decided to treat myself because I absolutely love them, have worn them almost daily as they are so comfortable and go with everything. Now to wait to purchase a pair of the striped jeans I’m eyeing up!

Simply the best - so soft and comfortable, the most gorgeous blue and a compliment magnet. I'm 5'1" and they are full length on me. My favourite trousers ever.

Cosy Spring

These are great quality and perfect colour and warmth for Spring. I am 5"4 and they work as a full length trouser on me. I am a size 14-16 and ordered the medium. They are so comfortable and pair so well with the pink mabel cardigan. Love them ❤️

Trousers of dreams

These are a thing of beauty. So soft and the colour is vibrant and joyful. Size M suited my 14/16 figure perfectly! I love that whilst the leg shape skims over my curves there isn't so much fabric that you feel you're flapping through a wind tunnel when walking about. The elasticated waist is great for looking nipped in as well as accommodating a roast dinner breathe-out. Eagerly anticipating future colours (burgundy please!) and a linen/cotton mix would be amazing for summer. Favourite pair of trousers evah.

Perfect even in pregnancy

These have been amazing. I have been able to wear my usual size until 32 weeks of pregnancy and cannot wait to be able to wear them in the future. An absolute staple!

I love my iris trousers, the longer length is perfect, possibly even a tad too long which is a novelty at 6ft! I'm not mad about it, it's fab and they are a lovely weight and a fab shape, I recommend them wholeheartedly!

A Convert to Trousers! 😀

Gemma has come up trumps once again! I haven’t worn trousers for years so ordered these with the idea that I would probably have to return them. How wrong was I? They are a lovely soft corduroy and a dark almost black navy blue. Gemma’s sizing and measuring tips once again worked a treat….she really does know her stuff! I am 5ft 7in and the trousers hit my ankle bone. They are wider in the leg than I thought they were going to be but I do love them! Now waiting excitedly to order the leopard print jeans as soon as they are available!
