The softest cardigan we've ever made. Pip's back in grape — deep purple, scattered with big pink spots. Spun from a finer, softer alpaca than the usual. Warmer than you'd expect for the weight, brushed to that lovely halo, and naturally hypoallergenic, so she's kind to sensitive skin.

Baby Alpaca – Not actually taken from baby alpacas. It comes from the first shearing of young alpacas. It’s softer, finer, and warmer than regular alpaca or even merino wool. Soft, warm, and luxuriously smooth, baby alpaca gives this cardigan its premium feel. Lightweight yet insulating, it drapes beautifully and feels gentle against the skin. It's hypoallergenic so less likely to irritate skin compared to sheep wool.
Polyamide – Added for strength and durability, polyamide keeps the cardigan looking sharp wear after wear. It helps prevent pilling, supports the knit’s structure, and ensures this piece stays as polished as it feels.
Elastane – A touch of elastane brings effortless stretch and shape retention. It lets the cardigan move with you, keeps it comfortable over layers, and ensures it snaps back into shape after every wear.

To ensure the longevity of your garment:

* Mutha.Hood is based in the U.K. If you live in a country where duty is payable on goods sent from the U.K, please note that this is not included within the cost of the item i.e we do not charge you VAT at checkout, as we know you will be charged this on receipt of the goods. Duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. As of 31.12.20, this sadly now also includes the EU and Ireland.

Returns & Exchanges
To make returns easier we have a new Returns Portal. You must notify us of your intention to return via the portal within 14 days of receipt of your order.
To create a return or exchange you will need your order number and delivery postcode. Please click HERE
You can choose to return via your own courier method using Self-Return. Or you can opt to use Royal Mail via our portal for a fee of £4 for packages up to 20kg which will be deducted from your processed return.
Please note that Self Return is the only option at the moment for International customers.
For exchanges, you will need to cover the cost to return the original order to us, but we will then happily send you a new size (of the same item) via free post.
Sale Items
If you order your item in the sale, sadly we can't exchange your items, we will only be able to offer a refund or a gift voucher. This is in order to keep sale prices as low as possible.
